All Freebird aircraft have been accepted as complying with CASA's 51% Major Portion Rule by RA Aus.
These are fully detailed construction plans, they are all CAD drawings with all the information to help make your dream of flight possible. Many parts are just straight pieces of tubing cut to length with some holes drilled as per CAD Drawings. Anybody can do that. There are template sheets drawn at 1:1 showing the pattern for you to make your own bending jigs for the bent parts. All Drawing Sheets are graded with how easy it is to manufacture the part. If you find any particular part too difficult to make, don’t worry we can help you by supplying that part.
This Package Includes:
Ø 263 pages of printed information on the SportLite including 150 CAD drawings, specifications, features, Q&A’s, and more pictures.
Ø There is an interactive CD, giving a 3-D construction view of the SportLite, so that you can actually rotate and zoom in on each part of the plane. This will show you detailed information of how each part is assembled. You can double click on any part in the 3D view to retrieve the part number and other information that correlates with the detailed CAD drawing in the plans book.
Ø Package also contains a template for every bent part printed at actual size so that you can make sure your part was constructed as to our specs.
